Welcome to THE DOOR, a community-driven online music, entertainment and interactive social space operating as part of the CN1 project.
By accessing, entering or using THE DOOR, you agree to these Terms of Use.
“THE DOOR” means the online service operated as part of the CN1 project. References in this draft to “the Operator”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the legal person or entity that will operate THE DOOR once formally identified. No legal name, address, jurisdiction or contact detail is invented or implied here. These items must be completed before final publication.
1. AGE REQUIREMENT
Access to THE DOOR is restricted to persons aged 18 or older.
By entering THE DOOR, creating an account or otherwise using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
This declaration does not constitute independent age verification unless THE DOOR expressly implements an age-verification mechanism.
If you are under 18, you must not access or use THE DOOR.
THE DOOR may introduce additional age-verification measures where legally required or reasonably necessary.
2. THE SERVICE
THE DOOR is an experimental online entertainment and community platform.
Features may include, among other things:
- live music sessions;
- DJ performances;
- live audio;
- live or prerecorded video;
- community rooms;
- chat and social interactions;
- games and interactive experiences;
- digital events;
- artist or producer sessions;
- user-submitted media;
- AI-assisted or AI-generated content;
- embedded third-party content;
- blockchain-related or other experimental CN1 features.
THE DOOR is under active development.
Features may be added, modified, interrupted, suspended or removed at any time, subject to applicable law.
We do not guarantee permanent availability, uninterrupted access, any specific attendance level, the continued availability of a particular feature, artist, event or room, or that the service will always be free from bugs, latency or technical failures.
3. LIMITED CAPACITY AND ACCESS
Some rooms, sessions or events may have a limited number of participants.
Entry is not guaranteed.
If a room is full, users may be required to wait or return later.
Access to THE DOOR does not create any entitlement to a place in a room, event, performance, future session, reward or benefit.
THE DOOR may use queues, invitations, access codes, account requirements or other access controls.
4. COMMUNITY CONDUCT
Users must behave reasonably toward other participants, artists, staff and the community.
The following may result in moderation, removal, suspension or banning:
- harassment;
- threats;
- hate speech;
- illegal content or activity;
- impersonation;
- spam;
- scams or phishing;
- malicious links or files;
- unauthorized automated activity;
- attempts to exploit, attack, interfere with or disrupt the service;
- deliberate circumvention of access controls;
- abuse of other users, artists or staff;
- publishing another person's private information without authorization;
- content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
THE DOOR may moderate, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, artists, infrastructure or legal interests.
5. MUSIC, VIDEO, LIVESTREAMS AND MEDIA
THE DOOR may display, transmit, embed or provide access to different forms of media, including:
- music;
- DJ performances;
- live audio;
- live video;
- prerecorded video;
- images;
- artwork;
- animations;
- visualizers;
- user-generated content;
- AI-assisted or AI-generated content;
- embedded content from third-party services;
- links to external platforms.
Music, videos, performances, images and other media remain the property of their respective creators, artists, licensors, platforms or other rights holders.
Access to THE DOOR does not grant users ownership, reproduction, redistribution or commercial exploitation rights over media presented through the service.
Unless explicitly authorized, users may not:
- record live performances;
- record private sessions;
- redistribute or rebroadcast streams;
- download protected media;
- copy or extract audio or video;
- commercially exploit performances;
- remove copyright or attribution notices;
- circumvent technical restrictions;
- reproduce protected content outside THE DOOR.
Nothing in these Terms transfers to a DJ, Artist or user any right that they do not already possess.
A user’s or Artist’s confirmation that they have the necessary rights does not eliminate any independent licensing, regulatory or legal obligations that may apply to the Operator.
THE DOOR may restrict or disable particular music or media functionality until the Operator has validated the applicable licensing framework.
6. VIDEO, CAMERA AND LIKENESS CONTENT
THE DOOR may allow DJs, artists, guests or users to transmit live or prerecorded video.
Anyone transmitting video through THE DOOR is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions or lawful basis for:
- the video itself;
- any music contained in the video;
- artwork or protected material visible in the video;
- the image, voice or likeness of identifiable persons appearing in it;
- any third-party material included in the transmission.
Users must not knowingly broadcast private individuals without appropriate permission where such permission is required.
THE DOOR may stop, mute, hide, restrict or remove video content where reasonably necessary for privacy, safety, moderation, copyright or legal reasons.
7. THIRD-PARTY MEDIA AND EMBEDDED CONTENT
THE DOOR may display, link to or embed content hosted by third-party platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud or similar services.
Third-party media may only be integrated using embedding mechanisms, APIs, players or other methods authorized by the relevant third-party service.
Third-party content remains subject to the terms, technical restrictions, licensing rules and policies of the platform providing it.
THE DOOR does not claim ownership of third-party media merely because it is displayed, linked or embedded within the service.
Users must not use THE DOOR to:
- download third-party content without authorization;
- re-host or independently restream content without authorization;
- extract protected audio or video;
- bypass advertisements;
- bypass age restrictions;
- bypass geographic restrictions;
- bypass digital-rights-management systems;
- circumvent copyright protections;
- circumvent access controls or technical restrictions imposed by the relevant platform or rights holder.
Availability of third-party content is not guaranteed.
A video, livestream, audio item or other external media item may become unavailable at any time if it is removed, restricted, disabled or changed by its original platform, uploader or rights holder.
Embedding or linking third-party content does not by itself grant THE DOOR or its users the right to download, copy, re-upload or independently rebroadcast that content.
8. USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT
Users remain responsible for content they submit, upload, link, stream, transmit or otherwise make available through THE DOOR.
By providing content, the user confirms that they have the rights, permissions or other lawful basis necessary to use and share that content.
Users must not knowingly submit content that infringes:
- copyright;
- trademark rights;
- privacy rights;
- image, voice or personality rights;
- contractual rights;
- applicable law.
THE DOOR may remove, disable or restrict access to content following a legitimate rights complaint or where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties.
Providing content to THE DOOR does not transfer ownership of that content to the Operator.
The user grants the Operator only the limited, non-exclusive permission reasonably necessary to host, process, display, transmit or technically operate the content for the requested feature, session or event.
This permission ends when the relevant content or service no longer requires it, subject to reasonable technical backups and legal retention requirements.
9. DJs, ARTISTS AND PRODUCERS
Artists remain the owners of their original works unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Uploading, transmitting or performing content through THE DOOR does not transfer ownership of that content to the Operator.
Artists authorize the Operator only to use the submitted or transmitted content as reasonably necessary to operate the agreed session, event or feature, subject to any separate DJ / Artist Terms.
Artists and DJs are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights, licenses, permissions or other lawful basis required for the material they provide or perform.
The Artist’s or DJ’s confirmation that they possess the necessary rights does not replace any independent licence, authorization or legal obligation that may apply to the Operator.
THE DOOR may interrupt, mute, restrict or remove a performance where a rights issue, legal complaint, safety concern or platform risk arises.
Separate DJ / Artist Terms apply to performers using the DJ Booth or live broadcast tools.
10. AI-ASSISTED AND AI-GENERATED CONTENT
AI-assisted or AI-generated music, images, video, voice or other media may be used only where the person providing it has the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to do so.
The person submitting the content remains responsible for verifying the terms of the AI service used, including any restrictions concerning commercial use, ownership, attribution, training data, voice rights, likeness rights or redistribution.
Users must not knowingly use AI tools to impersonate a real person, artist or rights holder in a misleading or unlawful manner.
THE DOOR does not certify the originality, copyright status or legal eligibility of AI-generated material submitted by users.
11. NO RECORDING BY DEFAULT
Live performances are not automatically recorded, archived or offered for replay by THE DOOR unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any recording, replay, archive, promotional extraction or commercial reuse of a performance may require separate authorization and applicable rights.
Users are not permitted to independently record a session where recording has not been authorized.
12. CONTENT REPORTING AND RIGHTS COMPLAINTS
Users and rights holders may report alleged copyright infringement, illegal content, privacy violations, impersonation, abusive material or other rights concerns through the reporting mechanism provided by THE DOOR.
Reports should include, where relevant:
- sufficient information to identify the person or organization making the report;
- contact information where required;
- a clear explanation of the alleged issue;
- the exact electronic location of the relevant content where possible, including a URL, room, session, account, post or other identifier;
- the legal or factual basis of the complaint;
- evidence of authority to act for a rights holder where relevant.
Where applicable, THE DOOR will acknowledge receipt electronically and process reports in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner.
THE DOOR may temporarily restrict, disable or remove disputed content while a legitimate complaint is being reviewed.
Where required by applicable law, affected users or reporting parties may receive information about the action taken and available means of redress.
Repeated or serious infringement may result in suspension or termination of access.
Additional copyright cooperation, licensing and content-management procedures may be implemented where required by applicable copyright law, including if THE DOOR later qualifies as an online content-sharing service provider or another regulated intermediary.
Nothing in this section should be interpreted as creating a general monitoring obligation where applicable law does not impose one.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
THE DOOR may rely on external services including streaming providers, hosting providers, content delivery networks, authentication services, payment providers, analytics tools, communication services, blockchain infrastructure or other technical providers.
THE DOOR is not responsible for outages, restrictions or failures caused by independent third-party services beyond its reasonable control.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies and technical limitations.
14. EXPERIMENTAL SERVICE
THE DOOR is an evolving project.
Bugs, interruptions, latency, crashes, audio problems, video problems, connection problems, incompatibilities or temporary service failures may occur.
Users participate with the understanding that the platform remains under development.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, THE DOOR is provided on an "as available" basis.
Nothing in this section removes legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. BLOCKCHAIN, DIGITAL-ASSET AND FINANCIAL DISCLAIMER
CN1 may include, or may become associated with, blockchain, digital-asset or token-related features.
Such features are separate from THE DOOR’s core entertainment and community functions and may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, technical restrictions and applicable law.
Nothing displayed within THE DOOR constitutes:
- financial advice;
- investment advice;
- legal advice;
- tax advice;
- a guarantee of value;
- a guarantee of liquidity;
- a promise of profit;
- a promise of financial return;
- a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset.
Any token-specific functionality should have separate legal terms before launch.
THE DOOR general Terms should not be relied on as the only legal framework for a token launch.
16. ACCOUNT, DEVICE AND WALLET SECURITY
Users are responsible for the reasonable security of their devices, accounts, passwords and authentication credentials.
Users should never share passwords, private keys, seed phrases or other sensitive access credentials with another participant.
THE DOOR staff or persons acting on behalf of the Operator will never require a user’s crypto-wallet seed phrase or private key.
Users should report suspected unauthorized account access through the official support channel once that channel is published.
17. MODERATION AND ACCESS CONTROL
THE DOOR may, where reasonably necessary:
- refuse or restrict access;
- remove users from rooms;
- mute users;
- suspend accounts;
- block accounts;
- restrict specific features;
- stop a livestream;
- remove content;
- terminate sessions.
These measures may be used for security, moderation, legal compliance, technical protection or protection of users and the community.
Where mandatory law requires additional notice or remedies, those rules remain applicable.
18. SERVICE CHANGES
THE DOOR may evolve significantly over time.
Features, rules, room capacity, technical architecture, event formats and access methods may change.
Material changes to these Terms may result in an updated version being published.
Where required by applicable law, users will receive appropriate notice or be asked to accept materially updated Terms.
19. LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising out of or relating to:
- temporary service interruptions;
- third-party outages;
- loss of internet connectivity;
- unauthorized third-party conduct;
- cancelled or interrupted community events;
- technical failures outside the Operator’s reasonable control;
- temporary unavailability of third-party media or integrations.
Users remain responsible for their own conduct and for content they submit or transmit.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer or other user of mandatory legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
20. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The CN1 and THE DOOR names, original graphics, interfaces, artwork, characters, branding, software and other original project materials are owned by or licensed to the applicable legal rights holder.
The legal rights holder has not yet been identified in this public draft and must be completed before final publication.
Nothing in these Terms grants users permission to reproduce, license, sell or falsely present those materials as their own without authorization.
This section does not claim ownership of third-party music, videos, artist works or user-submitted content.
21. PRIVACY
THE DOOR may process limited account, technical, security and usage information required to operate the service, prevent abuse, maintain security and improve functionality.
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy forms an informational part of the service and should be made available before entry.
22. INTERNATIONAL ACCESS
THE DOOR may be accessed by users from multiple countries.
Users are responsible for complying with laws that lawfully apply to their own use of the service.
Availability of particular features, media or services may vary depending on territory, licensing, provider restrictions or legal requirements.
The Operator may restrict a feature in a particular territory where reasonably necessary for legal, licensing, safety or technical reasons.
23. APPLICABLE LAW
This section is intentionally not finalized because the legal Operator has not yet been identified.
The governing-law and jurisdiction wording must be completed based on the Operator’s actual country of establishment and reviewed against mandatory consumer and other non-waivable statutory protections.
No exclusive-jurisdiction claim is made in this draft.
